Sailing wouldn't be half the sport without it's famous watering holes where all of the great post race stories are told. In honor of this fine tradition we start off our bar tour on Block Island, Rhode Island at Mahogany Shoals for some music and a brew, then |
slide on over to the Oar for a mudslide and some fried chicken, then slip on down to Davis' Pub in Annapolis for St. Paddy's day for a wee bit of green beer. Then it off to Newport for every yachties favorite stop, the IYAC, on Thames St. World famous for good company and good cheer to start off the new sailing season.
